Why?

This election...
From my perspective, I feel like many of us cannot express our true views without someone crashing down their self-righteous know-it-all opinions of the ignorance and stupidity of opposing views. Republicans are insulting our youth for supporting Bernie. The use of the word insulting is actually too light; they are downright arrogant and hateful in saying our youth are stupid, lazy, ignorant leeches. I adamantly disagree. Our youth are getting involved in our voting process. That's wonderful. Right?  What has happened to us that we feel we can rain down our pious opinions on people who are getting involved trying to make a difference? Democrats and Republicans are mouthing that support for Hillary is stupid and ignorant. (Interesting to note: an agreement of parties...scary). Is anyone else sick of all these asses in every part of our country telling us how stupid we are for our thoughts and opinions?  From where I sit, that is the problem. People talking without listening. Yes. Sounds of silence quote. We should be able to voice our opinions without inciting pompous rhetoric. Why? Why are we so quick to insult and bash?  What has happened that we no longer can encourage other thoughts and ideas?  I am voting for Hillary. I am not dumb, stupid or ignorant. It's my vote and I'm using it how I see fit. If anyone supports Bernie or Trump, good for you. I am thrilled to hear that people are exercising their right to vote. Am I scared?  Yes. But, I'm voting as intellectually as I can. Is it really important if you agree or disagree with my political views?  No. I don't think so. I think it is important we all encourage each other to vote. Wisely. Individually. Vote. If you feel the need to let me know how wrong I am, then maybe you really are a big old ass stinking up my space.
